Second baseman Jamey Carroll hit one over the fence and had 2 RBI at the
ballpark where the California Gangsta Luv beat the Dominican Republicans by
the score of 6 to 3.
California took the lead for keeps in the 7th inning with 2 runs. After two
were out Dan Wilson keyed the rally when he was hit by a pitch. Carroll came
next and he cleared the fences for a two-run home run (his 1st of the
season). Dominican could do no damage in the bottom of the 9th.
Greg Maddux(10-6) went 7 innings allowing 3 runs for the victory. Maddux was
helped out by Ryan Madson who recorded his 11th save. Eric Milton(6-14) was
the loser. He served up 3 homeruns in his 7 and 1/3 innings.
